Detailing Course
ENGINE DEGREASING
This class instructs the student in the safe and proper procedures, techniques,
and products required to degrease automotive engines. Special attention is paid
to the electrical components to insure proper starting after cleaning. Class includes
hands-ondegreasing of Auto engines..
WET WASHING CLASS
This class will instruct the student on how to follow the proper procedures, using the correct accessories and automotive approved chemical products to safely wet wash the vehicle. Students will be instructed how to safely wet wash and dry the automotive exterior including wheels. Class will be concluded by the student wet washing and drying an auto.
AUTOMOTIVE DRY WASHING CLASS
Due to the EPA restriction of soap and water entering city storm drains, dry washing
of vehicle is some times the only method available to clean the exteriors. Our class
consists of procedures and automotive approved cleaning products that will enable
the student to restore the clean surfaces by dry washing the vehicle. Class will be
concluded by the student dry washing an auto.
AUTOMOTIVE PAINT POLISHING & SEAL CLASS
Students will learn the correct and safe procedures in using various buffers on painted
surfaces. Differences between single and two stage paint, color sanding, touch-up,
airbrush techniques, which buffer pads work best. Training will consist of using high speed and orbital buffers for the removal of oxidation, fading and etching. Class will be concluded by the student buffing and sealing automotive painted surfaces.
AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR DETAILING CLASS
From Mercedes to Corvettes and Uncle Bill's Classic, students will be instructed in all
aspects of detailing automotive interiors and which products work best to recondition
leather seats, to cleaning the plastic, mirrors, windows, and instrument panels. Additional
instruction includes the use of carpet spotters and the NEW Dry Carpet Cleaning method.
When you don’t use water, there is no carpet shrinking. Class will be concluded by the
student detailing the interior of a vehicle .
